Mission Statement

In less than six months I will turn 30 years old and I have recently come to realize that I'm just alive, not really living my life. I spend most nights alone in my apartment reading a book or watching tv with the dog. My only consistent outings are my standing Saturday night dates with my BFF Curtis and as much as I love those (and I really really do) they are usually the same: dinner at one of a handful of restaurants and then a movie, always at one of two theaters. My life is predictable. My life is boring. My life is passing me by. It is time for me to get out of my apartment and into my life.
I am going to make a concerted effort to get out and live: to do more of the things I enjoy and find new things to try; to meet new people and to spend more time with the people I love; to spend less time looking pictures of other peoples' lives and get out and start taking some of my own; to take some risks and not regret them; to answer Hamlet's most famous question: "To be or not to be..." with a resounding TO BE!
